Poor Inventory Visibility and Stock Inaccuracies

Every pallet movement is now captured digitally in the custom Odoo Warehouse Management System, replacing paper-based records. To optimize APOLLO's inbound and outbound operations, Onnet Consulting customized Odoo WMS to coordinate storage allocation and warehouse movement workflows based on factors such as warehouse capacity, SKU grouping, and location availability. For physical material movement, the customized Odoo solution was integrated with third-party warehouse hardware, allowing system-generated warehouse instructions to work together with automated equipment. This connected software-and-hardware workflow reduced unnecessary forklift travel, improved storage utilization, and created a more structured inbound and outbound process.
Unstructured Warehouse Storage and Product Picking
Products were stored within general warehouse areas without dedicated storage locations, forcing forklift operators to spend valuable time searching for inventory during order fulfilment.
Onnet Consulting transformed APOLLO's warehouse into a structured, location-driven operation by implementing multi-level warehouse locations with unique location identifiers. Each pallet is digitally assigned to its designated storage location, enabling stronger pallet traceability across the warehouse. During outbound operations, the customized Odoo WMS determines the required picking location and communicates the relevant movement information to integrated third-party VNA forklift systems. By connecting Odoo's warehouse workflow with the physical material-handling equipment, operators can reach the required pallet more efficiently, improving picking accuracy and reducing unnecessary warehouse travel.
